Course Description
The Resuscitation Council UK and the HSE recommend that first aiders receive Annual Refresher training.
The HSE states that employers “should ensure” that all qualified first aiders “remain competent to perform their role”. Our Annual Refresher course provides learners with the opportunity to refresh their skills and stay confident and up-to-date with the latest first aid techniques.
Our Annual Refresher course can be delivered online or as classroom-based training. During the session, our instructors will update existing first aid knowledge and cover important safety information.
Course Content
Availability
- On-site courses (training for groups at a time and venue of your choice)
- Open courses (courses available at our training venues)
Delivery Method
- Face to Face (3 hours in the classroom), Blended (3 hours online)
Assessments
- Learners are observed and recorded by the Trainer throughout the session.
Pre-requisites
- Learners must be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
- We recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy, or equivalent. However, we acknowledge and embrace Viva-Voce (Verbal Assessments) for learners who may require additional support during assessment.
- If you believe changes may be needed to the course or its assessment due to a disability, please inform us as soon as possible, or at least two weeks before the start date. In most cases, this will provide us with sufficient time to assess your requirements and implement any necessary adjustments.
Certification
Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher) e-Certificate.
