Course Description
The Conflict Resolution & Management course is designed to help staff become more skilled at noticing changes in behaviour that might lead to conflict. It also includes recognising individuals who may be vulnerable due to mental health or substance issues. This course is modular and is part of the broader Personal Safety Awareness program, which covers breakaway techniques to keep staff safe during physical incidents. Our highly skilled and experienced trainers deliver the courses, drawing on years of experience working in the industry.
Course Content
- * We also deliver an additional one-day continuous personal development training course, which includes physical restraints. These techniques are risk-assessed to meet the guidelines set by the SIA.

Assessments
- Throughout the course, learners will be observed and recorded by the Trainer.
Pre-requisites
- Learners must be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
- If you believe changes may be needed to the course or its assessment due to a disability, please inform us as soon as possible, or at least two weeks before the start date. In most cases, this will provide us with sufficient time to assess your requirements and implement any necessary adjustments.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will receive a McCormack model Conflict Management e-Certificate.
