Course Description
This course is suitable for all employees who may have to carry out manual handling as part of their job, including those who handle deliveries, parcels and boxes.
This course is designed to provide learners with a greater awareness of manual handling principles, including the basics of safe movement, common manual handling injuries, and the equipment used for manual handling.

Delivery Method

Assessments
- Practical assessments are observed and recorded by the Trainer throughout the course.
Pre-requisites
- Learners must be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
- We recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy, or equivalent. However, we acknowledge and embrace Viva-Voce (Verbal Assessments) for learners who may require additional support during assessment.
- If you believe changes may be needed to the course or its assessment due to a disability, please inform us as soon as possible, or at least two weeks before the start date. In most cases, this will provide us with sufficient time to assess your requirements and implement any necessary adjustments.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will receive a manual handling e-certificate.
