Course Description
The Level 2 Online Award for CCTV Operators (Public Space Surveillance) is designed for learners looking to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a CCTV operator in public space surveillance. This qualification is based on the SIA’s specifications and has recently been updated to reflect new requirements.

- Face to Face (3 days in the classroom)
Assessments
- Practical and written assessments are observed and recorded by the Trainer throughout the course.
Pre-requisites
- Learners must be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
- We recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy, or equivalent. However, we acknowledge and embrace Viva-Voce (Verbal Assessments) for learners who may require additional support during assessment.
- If you believe changes may be needed to the course or its assessment due to a disability, please inform us as soon as possible, or at least two weeks before the start date. In most cases, this will provide us with sufficient time to assess your requirements and implement any necessary adjustments.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will receive a Level 2 Award for CCTV Operators (Public Space Surveillance) e-certificate.
