Course Description
Our comprehensive 2-day Paediatric First Aid course equips learners with the vital skills necessary to diagnose, manage and treat a wide range of paediatric injuries and illnesses.
This qualification is specially designed for people working with children who need to comply with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements and who wish to be included in the staff-to-child ratios. This includes teachers, nursery workers, childminders and assistants.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework requires all early years providers to have at least one staff member available at all times who has completed a full paediatric first aid qualification. They must also take into account the layout of the premises, the number of children on site and their specific needs, as well as the speed at which staff can respond to incidents when assessing first aid provision.
