Course Description

This course is suitable for police, door supervisors, event stewards, or individuals who would like to gain more confidence when managing high-pressure, dramatic first aid incidents until professional help arrives. This is an intense, dynamic course designed by AML Skills Ltd, specifically for those who need to respond rapidly in the event of a traumatic incident.

This unique course focuses on the provision of effective trauma management in all environments, particularly in a hostile or tactical environment. The course is delivered using simulated scenarios. Assessments

  • Practical assessments are observed and recorded by the Trainer throughout the course.

Pre-requisites

  • Learners must be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
  • We recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy, or equivalent. However, we acknowledge and embrace Viva-Voce (Verbal Assessments) for learners who may require additional support during assessment.
  • If you believe changes may be needed to the course or its assessment due to a disability, please inform us as soon as possible, or at least two weeks before the start date. In most cases, this will provide us with sufficient time to assess your requirements and implement any necessary adjustments.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will receive a Trauma Risk and Management © e-Certificate.
