Before you attend a course

Although our trainers will accommodate all learners, candidates attending the course must understand that there will be elements of both mental and practical work included on the course, and that everyone will be expected to participate.

Assessment & Certification

Learners will be continually monitored throughout, and awarded an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate upon completion of the course. The HSE recommend that all Emergency First Aiders at work attend a 3-hour Annual First Aid Refresher course, to ensure that they are up to date with procedures and to reduce the level of “skills fade”.

This course is suitable for employers who have identified in their First Aid Needs Assessment the requirement for Emergency First Aider's in the Workplace. Designed especially for beginners, it will give learners a practical understanding of basic first aid.

The focus of this course is on preventing situations from becoming worse and learning the vital lifesaving skills that a trained Emergency First Aider can use until professional help arrives. It is an excellent course, delivered in a simplistic, enjoyable way, ensuring all learners leave the course feeling confident in knowing that they could make a difference.

Due to the short duration of this course and the practical work involved, this course is delivered in the classroom only.
