Before you attend a course
Although our trainers will accommodate all, learners attending the course must understand that there will be elements of both mental and practical work included on the course, and that everyone will be expected to participate.
Certification
The qualification is valid for 3 years. In order to requalify, learners will need to complete the full course again. It is recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training as stated by the HSE.
Please note: This two hour course is intended as a same day bolt-on, following an Emergency First Aid at Work course.
This course provides the knowledge and competence for a learner to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural environment, and covers the recommended topics stated in the Forestry Commission First Aid policy 2015.
Due to the short duration of this course and the practical work involved, this course is delivered in the classroom only.
