Which First Aid course should I book?
Our First Aid Needs Assessment provides a wealth of helpful information to help you find the right First Aid course for you or your company. This will help calculate the number of first aiders you might need and the type of training they require. Download our FREE eBOOK.
Yes. Our prices are very competive. We don’t have any hidden extra charges for travel, accommodation etc. The price quoted is the price you pay.
Yes! It’s what we do. We have a brilliant team of trainers located nationwide. You provide the learners and the venue, and we will take care of the rest. You can also come to one of our sites.
All of our courses are certificated. We also have a number of Awarding Organisations for various qualifications we offer.
It is advised that all Learners bring photographic identification (such as a passport or driving licence) when attending a course for verification purposes.
Comfortable casual clothing i.e. trousers or jeans as there are practical elements to most of our training courses we deliver.
Since 1997 we have trained many thousands of people. Our training team are of the highest calibre, and a large percent of our business is repeat business and word of mouth. So we would say we must be doing something right.
The room needs to be large enough to seat 12 learners comfortably and for more practical sessions there needs to be enough space to carry out demonstrations and to practice (course type dependent).
A course that includes a combination of both, online training via Zoom or TEAMS with a qualified trainer, and face to face training in the classroom.
The Blended Learning approach offers employers the benefit of flexibility, as it can save both time and cost. However, some of our courses are face-to-face only, due to the nature of the training. Just ask if you require further details.
Yes. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) announced that from 1st April 2021 you must have a valid first aid qualification before you can apply for a Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
No. Contrary to what people are lead to believe by some training providers, the need for an Ofqual regulated course is NOT essential. Since 1st October 2013 the HSE no longer approves First Aid training providers. This means that businesses have more flexibility in how to manage their First Aid provision, using “Due Diligence” when choosing the right provider. Compliance, quality training, experience and reliability are what a client should look for.
Yes. However when deciding which members of staff will complete a first aid training course you should consider the following; are they physically able to cope with all emergency situations? Do they have adequate communication skills? Learners must also be over 16 years old.

Learners require a good understanding of spoken English to complete our courses successfully. Learners are permitted to bring a bilingual dictionary into assessments; however, mobile devices are not allowed. If a translator is required, please call us for advice.
Should you wish to cancel a booking you must notify AML Skills Ltd in writing by letter or email headed 'Notice of Cancellation'. For the avoidance of doubt, Notice of Cancellation will not be accepted by telephone. If the course is cancelled the following charges will apply: 14 Working Days, 50% of invoice value . 7 Working Days, 100% of invoice value
